Myofascial (Soft Tissue) Therapy
Aches and pains due to “ageing” or injury do not need to ruin your quality of life. All of the body’s tissues that are not bone or cartilage are soft tissues. When injured, they often heal by themselves in time. If your soft tissue pain does not heal and nothing shows on an x-ray or scan, myofascial therapy should always be considered.
We approach your pain and dysfunction using “release” of the myofascia and gentle movement integrations. Their use as a regular part of our treatment approach is routinely successful. You learn how to maintain your wellness with a home program designed just for you.
Movement Therapy
Your therapist uses a visual analysis of your movement to evaluate your problem, improve your range and quality of movement, and modify your movement habits for more efficient and pain-free motion.Clients learn how to create and participate in the changes that make a difference in their daily and professional lives. Gentle exercises are individually selected and taught during the session. Valuable for every body, and all ages.
CranioSacral Therapy
For headaches, jaw, neck and back pain using delicate manipulations and deep relaxation without drugs. Under normal conditions the body corrects and heals itself. If, due to trauma or stress, it is unable to restore wellness, this osteopathic approach may help. Dr John Upledger, D.O., developed techniques of very light touch and traction on the bones of the head, spine and sacrum. The connective tissues which support every structure in the body are also gently adjusted and released of restrictions that prevent normal tissue activity.Consider CranioSacral Therapy
